• Tip: You should spend time walking along the castle walls and enjoying the terraces. Put down the camera here and take in the countryside.
• Make sure to enter through the home tour entrance rather than the main gate. It takes around 30 minutes to walk from the Park's entrance to the Palace.
• Private cars are not permitted to enter this monument. It is advised to use the available walking paths or public transit. You may park your car in the historic core of Sintra or one of the nearby car parks.
• A shuttle is available every 15 minutes at the park and palace entrance.
